VIRSI

DYNTEX

The DynTex project is an initiative to collect a diverse reference database of high-quality dynamic texture video sequences. The work in this project is done in collaboration with Renaud Péteri and Sándor Fazekas. Recently, we have made very good progress by collecting and annotating more than 600 dynamic texture sequences.

FOUNDIT

Goal of the FoundIt project is to develop content-based image retrieval technology geared to the requirements of the textile industry. Foundit (FP5 IST) has now been completed successfully. Development is still continuing in collaboration with the Italian fashion design firm Pianezza.
