The MZ corner
All programs on this page are originally written for the Linux operating
system. They are all ported to the 32-bit Windows NT/2000/XP systems.
Here is a small program to convert an MZF image to a WAV file. This way you can
play it and record it to a tape, which can be read by your MZ. You could also
connect your PC to your MZ directly.
This program should be able to do the same for an Apple II (with some minor
modifications).
Documentation
Program and source
This is some documentation I wrote to connect your MZ to an ordinary TV.
Documentation
This is a Z80 disassembler, specialised in reading MZF images.
Documentation
Program and source
This is the most advanced program on this page. It sends an MZF image to your
MZ or tape recorder over your parallel port. This way you can transfer images
faster than with a sound-card.
This program should be able to do the same for an Apple II (with some minor
modifications).

A warning for Windows users: In order to do direct I/O under Windows I had to
write a piece of code that runs in ring 0. This does work, but it is rather
hazardous. Please read the documentation before using this program.
This is a translation of the Dutch book 'De SHARP MZ-800 ten voeten uit',
written by Arjan Habing and Mark de Rover. I translated it because it is a very
good manual and it's virtually useless in Dutch.
This is the book.
