Dynamic Media Technologies

Note: class meets 8 times, two class lengths (schedule)

Course Overview:

This course will examine various technologies in the field of dynamic media, including audio and video, streaming media, interactive movies, immersive media, non-linear digital video editing, and web integration and deployment. The QuickTime architecture will be the key architecture utilized during the study. Students will have many opportunities to explore the various technologies during lab exercises and in class demonstrations.

Participants can include both LIACS Media Technology students and upper-level LIACS Computer Science students.

The course will be held in English.

    The tools for these homework assignments can be found on Apple's web site here. Both Mac and Windows versions are available.
    Although you need only
    MakeEffectMovie,
    MakeEffectSlideShow is slightly more powerful. (Unfortunately, it is available only for the Mac.)
